Professional Background
Mike began his training in the kitchen and bath industry in 1979 by owning his own manufacturer’s rep company, where he received numerous sales awards.  Since Mike already knew so much about kitchen and bath products, it was a perfect fit for him to go right in to the kitchen design end of the business.   Mike keeps up to date with current trends in the industry by attending ongoing manufacturer’s training courses.

Approach to Kitchen & Bath Design
Mike’s approach to kitchen and bath design is a very hands on approach.  Mike feels it is important to go out in the field and measure job sites, pay attention to the details, make sure the client is happy, and good follow up.  Mike thinks it is important to educate his client so that they feel comfortable making an informed decision.  He likes to make it a fun experience for his clients, he has a willingness to adapt and find out about clients needs and wants, and incorporate them into the design.  Mike likes the unending possibilities in kitchen and bath design.  Mike is always learning and likes striving toward always being better at what he does. Mike is expanding into specialty areas, such as appliances so that he will be able to better serve his clients. 

When Not Designing
Mike can be found performing jazz, funk, and rhythm and blues.  Mike is a professional Sax player, lead singer & percussionist.
